Position Description
Join Jobtacular as a remote Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) (Remote AI Evaluation Contract) ($50 - $70/hour). We partner with leading AI research laboratories across major English-speaking markets to evaluate complex responses, design realistic domain scenarios, and calibrate next-generation foundation models using deep professional expertise in ICD-10, CCS, Inpatient Records, CPT.
What You Will Do
- Review clinical documentation for accuracy, completeness, and coding integrity.
- Assess and benchmark model-generated clinical notes and summaries against real-world documentation and coding standards.
- Code model-generated diagnostic and procedural information from the record using ICD and CPT/HCPCS classification systems.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in diagnosis and procedure coding, ensuring the integrity of record abstraction and data capture.
- Enter model-generated patient information into computerized inpatient and outpatient medical record databases.
- Demonstrated professional or academic background in ICD-10, CCS, Inpatient Records, CPT.
- Strong analytical reasoning and ability to articulate complex concepts clearly in written English.
Who We Are Looking For
- ICD-10 coding experience.
- Access to up-to-date official ICD-10 and CPT coding books, as well as E&M guidelines.
- Currently working in medical coding, clinical documentation improvement, or a closely related documentation role
- Availability of at least 10 hours per week
- Compensation Band: $50 - $70/hour
- Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
