What You Will Do

• Review, edit, and validate Japanese transcripts for completeness, clarity, and adherence to project guidelines.
• Correct errors, inconsistencies, or ambiguities in machine-generated or human-created transcriptions.
• Annotate audio files or transcripts with relevant metadata and contextual notes as required.
• Collaborate with project managers and other experts to ensure consistency and quality across deliverables.
• Use transcription tools and platforms to process and submit work according to project requirements.
• Contribute linguistic and cultural insights to improve AI model understanding and performance.
• Demonstrated professional or academic background in Japanese Language Fluency, Audio Transcription, Attention to detail.

Who We Are Looking For

• Working knowledge of transcription conventions, audio review workflows, annotation tools, or speech data projects is preferred.
• Keen attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to recognize subtle language, pronunciation, or context differences in audio samples.
• Proficiency in English to follow project instructions and manage occasional English-language content.
• Previous participation in AI training data, data annotation, or language technology projects is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to delivering high-quality, timely submissions.
• Compensation Band: $20 - $36/hour
• Work Location: Remote (100% Remote / Asynchronous Flexibility)
