Join Jobtacular as a remote Associate Forward Deployed Engineer (aFDE) (Python) — AI Code Evaluation (Remote AI Evaluation Contract) ($40 - $60/hour). We partner with leading AI research laboratories across major English-speaking markets to evaluate complex responses, design realistic domain scenarios, and calibrate next-generation foundation models using deep professional expertise in Python, SQL, Data Workflows.

What You Will Do

• Build and improve scripts, integrations, and automations that make data ingestion faster and more reliable.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues across APIs, data formats, and transfer workflows, with support from core FDEs.
• Monitor active workflows, identify gaps, and verify that customer data arrives complete and accurate.
• Work directly with customers and internal teams to communicate progress and move past blockers.
• Turn recurring issues into better tooling, documentation, and reusable workflows.
• Take on increasingly complex technical work as your experience and ownership grow.
• Foundational programming skills, including the ability to write and debug basic scripts in Python or a similar language.

Who We Are Looking For

• Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to take on increasing engineering responsibility.
• Practical background using SQL, data pipelines, or large datasets.
• Working knowledge of cloud storage and data-transfer workflows.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Working knowledge of formats such as JSON, CSV, or Parquet.
• Experience using AI coding tools to build and debug, with careful review of their output.
• Demonstrated background in a startup or customer-facing technical role.

Compensation & Remote Structure

• Compensation Rate: $40 - $60/hour (contract specialist remuneration)
